Please be advised that URGENT maintenance consists of the following:

  • A burst water service;
  • a blocked or broken toilet;
  • a gas leak;
  • a dangerous electrical fault;
  • flooding or serious flood damage;
  • serious storm or fire damage;
  • a failure or breakdown of the gas, electricity or water supply to the premises;
  • a failure or breakdown of any essential service on the premises for hot water, cooking, heating or laundering;
  • any fault or damage that causes the premises to be unsafe or not secure.

You may not be able to reach your property manager, especially if after hours or over the weekend. Please contact our preferred contractors below and they will be able to assist in guiding you through the situation or to make safe temporarily until they can attend.

Please note that Habitat Real Estate staff are not on call 24 hours. If you are to lock yourself out during business hours and we do have a spare set of keys your welcome to call and attend our office to collect the spare set. However, if you’ve locked yourself out after hours you will unfortunately need to call a locksmith at your own cost.
